The Farnham Montessori School is for children aged 2½-5 years operating in a sports clubhouse in central Farnham. It enjoys a quiet off road position, which includes a fenced, outside garden and is surrounded by playing fields and Farnham Park - 300 acres of outstanding natural beauty. 

We aim to teach in an atmosphere in which every child may blossom. Where every child has the security to participate fully in the life of the school and where tolerance and respect for others is valued. 

We provide a fun, stimulating but peaceful environment where children are supported and encouraged to reach their full potential. Happy children enjoy learning and by offering them a wide range of activities at their level, but not forcing them to participate, we hope to encourage a love of what we call "work" but they definitely consider to be play. 

The Montessori approach aims to allow children to grow naturally, to retain their individuality and develop their own unique personality. The young child learns through observation, movement and exploration, working with materials that are graded to help make successive levels of discovery about their world. 

The Nursery follows the government's Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) alongside the Montessori Method of Education, ensuring the children receive the very best start in their learning journey. We have created an organised, lively, happy environment where children love to come and which is safe, secure and fun. 

Farnham Montessori School is a private nursery owned and managed by Marion Meechan. Marion is supported by a dedicated team of staff who would be delighted to show you around the nursery.
